Pit Cobra Enrofloxacin is a veterinary antibacterial and anti-infective oral solution containing Enrofloxacin HCl. According to the product label, it is intended for poultry and other birds for the treatment and control of susceptible bacterial infections, particularly certain respiratory and intestinal infections.

Indications & Uses

According to the label, Pit Cobra Enrofloxacin is indicated for roosters, cocks, hens, pigeons, and other birds. It is labeled for treatment and control of bacterial infections involving organisms or conditions including:

• Mycoplasma
• E. coli
• Pasteurella
• Salmonella
• Other bacterial organisms susceptible to enrofloxacin

As a fluoroquinolone antibacterial, enrofloxacin works against susceptible bacteria by interfering with bacterial DNA replication. It should be used only for bacterial infections for which enrofloxacin is appropriate.

Dosage & Administration

The bottle states to take/use on an empty stomach and provides the following directions:

Gamefowl: 5–7 drops (0.3 mL) orally for 5–7 days, or 1 teaspoon per gallon of drinking water for 5–7 days.

Gamebirds: 1–2 drops (0.1 mL) orally for 5–7 days, or 1 teaspoon per gallon of drinking water for 5–7 days.

Other birds: Mix 2 mL per gallon of drinking water for 7 days.
